Update 8/16 from Abby's Foster Mom: Abby is an absolute sweetheart! She is as sweet as they come and very sensitive when being corrected for breaking the rules. Abby is a very happy girl and so far loves all of the people that she has met. Although her history is a bit uncertain, there is definitely evidence that at some point and time someone worked with Abby. She is crate trained, housebroken and knows basic commands, sit and down. Abby is a quick learner, but like most GSDs she can be stubborn. She clearly has been allowed on furniture and the bed in a previous home, but is quickly learning that she is not allowed to do those things in her foster home and that the dog beds are hers to enjoy :) Abby settles beautifully inside and is happy to relax and just hang out. She behaves really well on a leash and enjoys her daily long walks. Unfortunately, Abby is willing to clear a 4 foot fence with little effort so she can not be left unsupervised in the yard. It is unknown how Abby is with other dogs or cats as there are none in her foster home right now, but it is something we are hoping to learn more about in the near future. If you are looking for a super sweet and loving GSD, Abby is your girl!

Abby II was surrendered to a shelter through no fault of her own,  sadly her people had too many dogs. Abby has been described as a " bit of a goof ball" .....she likes to flop down and roll on the ground like a pup! Sweet as can be, our Abby needs some work on her leash manners---but she is eager to please and will be a quick learner ! This beautiful girl will attach quickly and be a loyal companion....
