Adoption Information

Our adoption fee is $350.00.

Our dogs have been vetted, which includes vaccinations , any medications needed and are spayed or neutered.  We have standard tests done for erlychia, heartworm etc and our dogs are on preventatives.

(Typically our vetting expenses far exceed the adoption fee but your generous donations help us defray the costs! )

If the dog you were interested in is adopted before you are approved, we will work with you to find another dog that is a perfect fit with your family. Sadly, there are literally thousands of wonderful adoptable dogs in need of new homes!

  ASR is a 100% volunteer organization!  Everything you see and hear about our dogs happens because of a network of caring individuals working to make it happen.  With the help of our volunteers we are able to spread the word about our rescue, process applications and provide a place for our dogs to live until we find the right match.

Our fosters help us learn more about the dogs in our rescue.  Some adopters are looking for a dog that is good with cats...

Some of our adopters are looking to find a kid friendly addition to their family...we can help with that.

And there are even some foster homes that can test a foster dog to make sure they get along with...well more unique situations.
