John Edward Konrad
June 5, 1969 - January 2, 2013
John was one of the founding members of All Shepherd Rescue. He was a gentle, compassionate man who always had time to help those in need, human and canine!
Many of us at ASR have known John for years prior to the forming of our rescue - meeting through a mutual love - rescuing dogs. John was passionate about many things, church, WGTS, Dawn and Marina, but his dogs were a key part of his life.
There are no words to express the void left by his passing. Sharing favorite times with John, "John" stories and pictures, help keep his memory alive in our hearts. A large portion of John's time was spent with his fur kids and fosters or working on behalf of ASR. We miss John very much.
We try not to weep at his passing but to find strength in the reflection of the memories we have with John and in seeing the moments he shared with his family. By sharing these photos, we hope that others will know John as we do. The world was a better place for John having been in it.
Hug your family tight tonight - 2 legged and 4 legged - and every chance you get. Life is too short and fragile to do anything less.
