We don't know what happened to Athena before she was surrendered to the shelter, but it is clear her life was not so great :-(

Underweight, scabs on her skin, hair loss and black gunky ears .......but still oh so sweet and craving for affection.

The shelter started her on some meds and medicated baths which her foster will continue ......but despite all she has endured, she is sweet and gentle .

​She was interested but non reactive to the foster's dog and wonderful meeting her foster to adopt family *.
