Bo is a very popular  gal and we are no longer accepting applications for her .

Approved adopters information will be reviewed by the foster for the best fit .

Update from her foster :

Bo is a very sweet and cuddly girl. She loves to just melt Into you and will snuggle for hours if you let her. 

So far in her foster home she is housebroken and crate trained. (Though she does protest a bit in the crate if a lot is happening around her --two dogs and a cat also live there )

She settles nicely and is easily redirected. She is getting used to her doggy foster “brothers” but gets nervous if they get too excited. She would love to have a patient and accepting doggy friend of similar energy but would do fine as the only dog as well. 

She really likes her foster kitty brother. But if he runs, she tries to give chase. She is easily called off, but would do best with a kitty that is used to pushy big dogs. She would probably overwhelm a nervous kitty. But a confident and neutral kitty will be her favorite cuddle friend. 

She is a high energy girl, who still gets the “zoomies”, so an active home that can give her the needed outlet is important. She can be a bit mouthy, but is very gentle, usually pulling on a sleeve to get her fosters attention. 

We are told she lived with teens, but she has not been tested with young children. She may be a bit too exuberant for very young kids. She is very social and greets everyone like a long lost friend. 

Bo is a lovely girl, she will bond quickly and consistent training , including the group training required to adopt her, will help her quickly transition to her new family.

 

Bo's is such a love bug.......with people and the foster kitty :-)

Bo came to ASR after her military Dad reached out to us and asked for help. We were so happy we could help and move her into a wonderful foster home while we find her the perfect home. She has a lovely personality and has been great with everyone she has met. She is currently fostered with two dogs but has not yet met them due to her recent spay. While she does cuddle with the kitty, she may chase , too, so a " dog-savvy" kitty is a must.
