Big, playful and sweet Shermie is just the best!  He has so much to offer his future family!  Sherman is a great boy that has had a turn of bad luck - he lost his home and family somehow and now would just love someone to take him home so that he can have a family again - this time for good. 

Sherman is a typical loyal and loving Shepherd and will give you his entire heart.  He does need an experienced handler and someone who is willing to be a good, strong leader.  He is a great listener and would never share secrets. 

Sherman is a smart boy - he will require training - not only to help build that important bond of trust, but also to make sure that his people come away from that training program with a socially acceptable, well trained dog that will be a pleasure to be with.

With proper introductions he does get along with other dogs and he is great with people.  

  Sherman is a big and strong boy, and he is so deserving of a good home.  That's it!  Good leadership, training,  lots of loving - a nice soft bed - a few belly rubs, and man, you have yourself a great buddy for life!.

Update: Sherman has decided his favorite toy is a stick! He has learned to flip it in the air, catch it, and then do it all again! He is a comedian in a furry body!
