Meet Sarge! This gorgeous young man is smart, eager to please, and loves to play.  He has lived in a home with older children and another dog and also with cats.  Sarge's former family was moving into another home and Sarge could not go along  so he is on the lookout now for a family that can keep him forever. He would be very much at home in just about any family - however, small children (toddlers), make him a little nervous, so we recommend he go to a family with children over the age of 8.   Sarge has plenty of puppy energy and playfulness about him. A little shy when he is first met; but a sniff or two and he is your best buddy! He definitely would benefit from at least a basic course in obedience - taken together with his new family......just to get them on the right foot (or paws) together!  This also goes a long way to make sure that that bond of trust begins and results in a well behaved and social dog that is a pleasure to have as part of the family.
