Duffy is a cute, wiggly (very wiggly), hairy and  friendly little guy - who will not be so little very much longer!  Duffy is also fluffy! :) He is very smart and is adjusting to his foster home in record time....so much to learn!  He has a foster big brother GSD and 3 resident not so thrilled to meet him foster kitties.  He is fine with his doggy brother - and chases the kitties (much hissing and nasty looks here), every chance he can.   A home without cats would definitely be recommended here! If it runs, he will chase. The squirrels in the yard are also put on notice!

Duffy is coming along nicely with his house training and crate training.  He sleeps through the night with no accidents - and does wake you at a reasonable hour (6:30 am), for morning potty duties.  He plays with his toys and then collects them and puts them all in the crate....for safekeeping :)  He doesn't have a clue about walking on a leash- and we are working on that!  He just loves to be loved on and is so friendly to everyone he meets!

Please do your research when considering adopting a puppy.  Raising a puppy is not for the faint of heart - It is a considerable amount of work that requires lots of love and more patience than you ever thought you would ever need, and- (very important here ) - it takes time!  Puppies are cute - very true; however  they have razor sharp teeth, chew everything, have inconsistent toileting skills, and, just like a human baby, require a commitment that must last a lifetime!.  

*When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please also remember this:   Up to the age of 8 months, puppies cannot be left alone for a standard work day.      Arrangements will have to be in place for 4-5 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old. Having someone with them every 4-5 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housebreaking process.
