Sheldon is a love bug when he knows you but initially he can be fearful of  new people and bark protectively of his family.  He is a love bug with his family and fine with people once he is familiar with them but due to his reaction to strangers will only be adopted to a family /adopter with experience with German Shepherds. Due to his fear issues, Sheldon would do best in a home with no kids.

Sheldon is very treat oriented and a quick learner, going over A frames with minimal persuasion. 

If you have the experience and time to give  Sheldon the confidence he needs , he will be a wonderful addition to your home !  

Sheldon is great with dogs of all sizes.
