CONGRATULATIONS TRINIDAD, ON YOUR PENDING ADOPTION !

4/21/2020 : Poor Trinidad, he just can't get a break !  He lost his first family to divorce/foreclosure and just when he was settling in with his new family, the older family dog was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo complex surgery &  lengthy recovery followed by radiation treatment. As much as his new family loved him, they didn't feel it was fair to him to have be kept separate /quiet during the other dog's recovery/treatment and asked us to find Trinidad a home where he would receive the love and attention he deserves.

Trinidad is an active happy GSD -Lab mix , LOVES to play, great house manners , crate trained and raised with kids. Cats are unknown. He may be too playful for smaller dogs but he listens well and will make some lucky family or adopter a wonderful new addition.

2/10/2020  Sad news........Trinidad ( now Ranger) has been a beloved family member since adopted in 2016 but is another sad product of a divorce.

The family tried , but no large breed friendly rentals were found within the children's school district and they tearfully asked us to find him a home.

We make a lifetime commitment to our dogs and Ranger is back with us.......

Ranger has been a well cared for and well loved family member.......he is great with children and great with people. Temporarily he is at a local doggie daycare but loving hanging out with his new doggy friends.  He is house and crate trained. He acts and looks like a typical happy lab mix.......we do know his mom was a GSD because she gave birth while with us, Bahama Mama !

He has his Mom's incredibly loving personality , too, even though he doesn't look like a GSD !

12/12/2016 UPDATE : We are thrilled with the popularity of our puppies.....however we  currently have enough applications pending that it is likely they will be adopted shortly. If you have not submitted an application yet and ONLY want one of these puppies, it is unlikely they will available . 

Meet Trinidad, one of our " Island Puppies"!  In early September, we were contacted about a pregnant female GSD who had to be out of the shelter in two days to be " safe". Wonderful volunteers transported her to our amazing " Puppy Foster".....and a few weeks later " Bahama-Mama" gave birth to these beautiful pups !

Trinidad is the largest puppy.  He is 22 pounds and 10 weeks old.  

**When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please remember this: Up to the age of 8 months old, puppies cannot be left alone for a standard work day.    Arrangements will have to be in place for 4 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old. Having someone with them every 4 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housebreaking process
