About Estarlia

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Current Age: 7 Years 9 Months (best estimate)

Canine-Ality: Wallflower
"Shy yet charming canine searching for patient owner with relaxed lifestyle. Looking for gentle guidance to help me come out of my shell. Treat me sweet and kind and I'll blossom. (Internally motivated)".

Estarlla has been through a lot and is now looking for a patient home to teach her how to be a normal dog again. At 8 months she was attacked by an unknown animal and was quarantined for 16 weeks, forcing her owner to surrender her before being transferred to us. The isolation was too much for this little girl and she became very wary of strangers. She has come along way and has started to learn that not all people are scary, though she still struggles with getting to know men. It takes time, but once this pretty girl warms up she is a star! Treats and time is all she needs. The puppy inside of her comes out and shines once she has learned that you are safe. She is full of zoomies, tug of war, fetching balls and slamming her butt into you for a good scratching! She really is a total goofball. Estarlla loves other dogs too! She lived with multiple other dogs and enjoys playing with a few here at the shelter. In fact a home with a confident people social dog would help her thrive and learn that the world isn't all that scary. She is a hidden gem really, looking for someone with patience, and hopefully knowledge of the German Shepherd breed. Do you have room in your home and heart for this stunning girl?
