Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog.
Heath, and the rest of the Candy Bar litter ( Baby Ruth and Snickers) , are adorable puppies that came to us when their owner could no longer care for them and reached out to a GSD local trainer for help.....we were happy to take them into ASR and start them on their new lives ! T Heath is shy initially when meeting people but LOVES to play with his canine foster sibling /sister. Heath is what is termed a " plush coated " shepherd, with beautiful silky long hair.....quite the handsome hunk ! Heath has a bit of an unusual hip formation but was recently seen by a local top orthopedic /sports medicine Vet ( we will share the full report) and who felt nothing was needed , and Heath runs and plays with abandon with no restrictions or limitations. He is just a super handsome young lad who LOVES to play. Heath will do best with an adopter that has no young children ( he is very cautious and shy around the foster's 9 year old) and is willing to work with Heath to help him gain confidence and socialization. There is no aggression at all, Heath is just super shy . When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please remember : Up to the age of 8 months old, puppies cannot be left alone for a standard 8-9 work day. Arrangements will have to be in place for 4 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old. Having someone with them every 4 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housebreaking process as well as assists with the general socialization of your pup ! If you are not yet approved to adopt from All Shepherd Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. Our adoption fee is $350.00 More about HeathGood with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids, Good with Adults, Cratetrained, Playful, Timid, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Intelligent, Gentle, Goofy Video of Heath:
