Cody was used for breeding but needed a new home when the breeder became seriously ill. We partnered with another local GSD rescue to save Cody and others. Like so many dogs, despite all the changes in his life, Cody has been amazingly resilient. Super friendly and affectionate, he LOVES LOVES belly rubs and will roll over for one as soon as he meets you ! Cody is fine with dogs and people. While with us, he has not yet met any kids but due to his size -- he is a big boy with a beautiful and massive long coat -- he would be best in a home with kids over 8 to avoid accidental knock-overs :-) With our volunteers, Cody has been attending basic obedience classes, and is a star student!
