Rosie is a dear, sweet dog who needs a new home.  She is currently living with 3 other dogs, a small female Chihuahua, a senior male cattle dog mix, and an alpha and anxious female Heeler who is not accepting of her.

A perfect situation for Rosie would be as a companion dog. She is loyal and loves humans more than anything. Rosie travels well in the car and likes to meet new people.

Rosie spent time at a local boarding facility after being picked up as a stray. She was often seen at the reception desk enjoying lots of attention.

Rosie is crate trained. 

She needs daily exercise to work off some energy.  She loves all toys from sticks in the yard to stuffed animals, to squeakers, to Nylabones and really enjoys playing fetch and running around.

Rosie knows basic commands including COME, SIT, NOPE, and EAT.  She is learning OFF and LEAVE IT.

Rosie has not lived with cats but is exposed to dozens of chickens and a couple of goats through livestock fencing in her backyard. Rosie does like to chase, catch and play with baby rabbits in the backyard.

Rosie is being rehomed thru her original rescue, Paws & Hearts/Twilight Bark in Abilene, Texas.  There may be assistance with fees and transport.

Rosie is ready to be your one and only devoted companion.
