OUTLAW has an adoptionpending.  Congrats Outlaw!

Outlaw is our new boy who has just arrived.  He is big. He is beautiful. He was pulled from a shelter - and he will be the first to let you know that he hated it behind those bars! :)  Outlaw is really just a sweet ole boy with a big bad name. :) He has not had much of the good life previously.  Wandered around a lot - and he is really a youngun - maybe a year or so old.  He is ready to put that old life behind him now and get on with the business of finding a new home.  He has been checked by the vet, had the necessaries done, and in the process, tested low positive for Heartworm. Heartworm is so easily preventable, just one pill once a month - and obviously this was not done in Outlaw's case.  However, he is being treated for this now and will require a short period of about a month or so of crate rest until he is healed and free of those nasty critters.

UPDATE: Outlaw's foster reports that he is a big puppy that loves people and children and once he learns some rules he’s going to be a real keeper. He is full of life and just loves following his fosters around. Bottom line – he is a big clumsy goofy young very typical GSD. He is toy motivated so he should be easy to train.

PLEASE HELP OUTLAW!  Outlaw is now undergoing expensive treatment for Heartworm.  Please consider helping us to help him by donating what you can towards his treatment.  The Paypal button to your left will take you where you need to go - and Outlaw and All Shepherd Rescue thank you for your help.

UPDATE 4/8/2011 10:11 PM: OUTLAW is very sick as a result of his initial Heartworm treatment ! Heartworm treatment can be dangerous and this poor boy is fighting for his life at this moment in a veterinary hospital under the care of an experienced veterinary staff.

Please keep Outlaw in your thoughts.........this sweet young boy deserves a chance at life.

Your help in paying the mounting veterinary care for Outlaw is very much appreciated..

UPDATE - 4/16/11:   Outlaw's foster reports that "Outlaw is now at home and he is recuperating nicely.... finally eating enthusiastically and seems a bit less stressed.  He has had the run of the house for the last few days and seems to be OK".
Outlaw is a handsome, strongwilled boy that bonds quickly with his people and can and does become anxious when they are not nearby.  A training program with his adoptive family after his heartworm treatment is completed will go a long way in helping Outlaw gain the confidence and trust he needs. Outlaw is a wonderful, happy and outgoing dog that is so deserving of a great home!  Please contact us to arrange to meet him.
