Reuben has just arrived and is settling nicely into life in a foster home. This is very different from the shelter and, yes, he is definitely going to be loving it! Reuben has a lovely fur-foster sibling, a big foster fur-brother who is also looking for a forever home and a few cats and adults and almost adults sprinkled here and there. It is a full house! Reuben is very skinny and really needs to put on some weight. His foster mom is already busy, busy in the kitchen, cooking up something yummy and special for him! Aside from being a mite skinny, he is otherwise a beautiful and very typical young German Shepherd. He is still really only a puppy, after all, and is not yet fully grown. He will fill out to be breathtaking! Take our word for it! He is initially a little bit shy, not sure of what is happening around him yet -- there have been so many changes, you know. However, he does warm up rather quickly. Reuben would fit into just about any type of family and will bond quickly with his people. He will need training, of course, and the structure and discipline of a training regimen willl go a long way in helping Reuben to become a well balanced and confident adult dog.....a dog that will make his people proud.
