Hunter is an absolutely adorable baby that needs a very good home.  He is your typical young pup -- full of himself and into everything!  He will need all the love, patience and direction that you can give him.  As with all puppies, he will be alternately a pain and a joy and lots of work.  But the rewards...oh my - the rewards are unconditional love and devotion and a loving and loyal companion for life!

Hunter will need training - just as a human baby needs training - right from the start - and it will be fun for both the dog and the human.....we promise!  Hunter is with his foster and looking forward to meeting his forever family soon!

Update 8-7-11: Hunter's foster proudly reports that Hunter is doing great!  He  now weighs 34 pounds and is full of energy. He is very smart, loves to play and is very food motivated. He is learning to swim but still prefers to be held in the pool. He is enjoys taking long afternoon naps in his crate and is pretty much housebroken - no accidents in weeks!! Hunter is great with other dogs and he is already acting like the boss of our females here. His paws are huge and his ears do stand up now and then, :)  particularly when he is not tired. He is everything that a young German Shepherd puppy should be.
