Vincent is an exceptionally handsome and dinstinguished white German Shepherd.  His former foster described him as "noble, sweet and gentle".  Vincent is all that and much, much more.  He  comes to us from our friends, All Sato Rescue in Puerto Rico where he was rescued from the streets.  Unfortunately, while there he was attacked by another dog and sustained some pretty significant injuries to his face, ears and his legs.  Being an otherwise healthy young boy, he did quickly recover; however, one of his ears had to be amputated.  Hence his name - Vincent. :)  Vincent has a gentle nature, he loves everyone and he is smart and obedient.  He seems to know some simple commands, such as Sit, Paw and Come. Of course, he will need to attend at least some basic obedience training with his new family - this will help that very important bond between the dog and his owner, insure that he is familiar with other obedience commands (there may be a slight language difference here) :) and generally to help him become a fantastic member of his new family. As a sign of affection, he gets close to you and rubs his head on your legs, very softly and gently, so you can pat his head and rub his cheeks.  This is one of his most endearing behaviors. He gets along with other dogs and is a true gentleman when greeting people.
