Hello there!   My name is Harvey, and no I am not a big rabbit! :)  I am a big, friendly, goofy German Shepherd and I would like to find me a good home, please.  I am young and exuberant.  I love everyone and I would love to be your bestest friend ever - for life!

Harvey is a friendly young, bouncy, energetic boy that is on the look out for a perfect home. Because of his energy level, we recommend that he go to a home without babies or toddlers - older children will be fine.  He is smart, eager to learn and does know some commands; sit, lay down, etc., although he does need  "practice" with these and others. :) He will need at least the basic level of obedience training, and going through a basic obedience program with Harvey will reinforce the bond and trust that is so necessary to produce a well balanced and well mannered adult dog. The sociazation of other dogs and people in an obedience class is wonderful for a young dog and he will love it!  We promise that his people will, too!  This gorgeous fellow is ready for his new home.  Please contact us for more information.

Foster Update: Harvey is good with dogs and people although initially a bit reserved . Due to his energy level he will do best in a home with a yard where he can play ball or burn off some excess energy playing with this family! He is crate trained and housebroken. Experience with herding breed a must for this smart and energetic young boy!
