This pretty little miss is Alice! She and her sister, Beatrice and her brother, Cade are bright, happy, bouncy and energetic puppies that are looking forward to being some lucky family's newest addition. Alice is friendly toward all; loves other dogs and people and will make herself right at home with any family. We would be most happy to introduce you to this cutie. Update from foster mom:
Alice is a wary and shy little girl. She is not sure about humans, but she wants to be sure! She asks for affection and is very gentle. However, she can roughhouse with everyone! She is fine with the cats. She will need some tender and patient care, but once she learns to trust, she will be a wonderful and striking companion with her wavy hair and doe eyes. Not yet houstrained, but we ' re working on it. She is learning about the crate and is quiet when she's crated. Alice will make your heart melt!! Update 11/2/2012:
Alice has come a long way in the past month. She is much more confident, though still a little shy--after all, she hasn't seen much of the world yet! She is gentle and loving. With her thick, black eyeliner and fancy, wavy hair, I think her name ought to be Cleo, short for Cleopatra. She is a beautiful girl. I've spent these last weeks with her, getting her used to collar and leash--and going out of the yard. She is enjoying her walks (though, with three puppies and two of my dogs, "walk" is a term I use loosely--it's more like a parade of clowns). She has met other dogs, as well as kids, and has been polite and gentle. She sits nicely to be petted when she meets someone new. I think that her idea of heaven would be someone who would let her sit with them on the couch, snuggling, though she is an angel in her crate. She is a smart, pretty girl; good with kids, cats, dogs--what more could you want?
