Please welcome Mr. Gibbs!  He is our new boy in town - and he is looking for a new home and  long term committed relationship! Gibbs is a beautiful, typical young German Shepherd.  He is so ready to become part of a loving family!  Gibbs would fit into just about any type of family home....he may be a bit too big and boisterous for babies and toddlers, but older kids should be fine.  He would definitely love to be part of all typical family activities.  Gibbs would benefit from a family that would spend a little time on his "doggy education". A basic obedience course would be great.  He is smart, quick to learn and pick up just what it is you want him to do.  As with most GSD's he is extremely intelligent and eager to please his people.  

FOSTER UPDATE, September 29: Gibbs has settled in nicely with his two human and three fur friends.  He has perfect house manners and just wants to be a part of the family. 

He learns very quickly and is mastering his basic commands.  A smart guy, he loves having a job and so enjoys working on commands, tricks, and even beginning agility. 

He is still working on his leash manners, and gets very excited whenever he goes on a walk.  He requires careful introductions to new and strange dogs.  This is a work in progress.

Gibbs is a great guy who loves people and loves to be loved.
