Yay! This dog has 2 Valentines! The following donors helped make this dog’s Valentine’s Day a special one!  

Genie is a sweet and gentle girl that went on a walkabout one day and lost her way.  She found herself in a shelter - and has made her way now to a wonderful foster home with ASR! Genie is a smart young girl and she would complete just about any family.  She is a big girl - a fine figure of a woman! :)   Genie has a good appetite and loves her food!   Genie,  unfortunately, probably because of her lifestyle and lack of good care before rescue, had tested both heartworm positive  and also positive for Lyme disease when she first arrived at the shelter.  She has been successfully treated for both, has a clean bill of health and is on a  monthly heartworm and flea preventative.  She does get along with other dogs well, is fine with cats and is friendly to all humans - big and little!    Genie is waiting patiently - well maybe a little anxiously - for her forever home and would love to meet you.  Please do contact us and we will be happy to give you more information and make arrangements for you to meet Genie.
