Congratulations, Champagne, on your pending adoption!!!

Yay! This dog has 2 Valentines! The following donor helped make this dog’s Valentine’s Day a special one!

Champagne is very affectionate and friendly, and has wonderful house manners.  She wanders freely in the foster’s home and has not chewed on anything except her own toys, she does not jump on furniture, does not counter surf, and leaves pretty much everything alone including the trash. Champagne is food/treat driven and learns very quickly and shows great interest in learning new things. She is learning leash manners and how to go into her crate on command. She is quiet when she’s in the crate; she just needs a little coaxing to go in at night. The foster reports leaving the crate door open during the day and Champagne goes in on her own when she needs a little down time.

Champagne is very affectionate and continues to be very social with everyone she meets; including the foster's two small children (2 and 4 year old). She greets everyone, including strangers, with kisses and a wagging tail. She usually does not jump on anyone but does get excited to the point where she will wrap her paws around you for a big hug.  She has also been friendly with other dogs, both large and small, that she has encountered.

Champagne is a very smart girl and is responding well to instruction and training. She is attentive to her handler and has made great progress since coming to ASR.  Her fosters report that she could fit in with just about any type of home. She’s a great running buddy and an even better cuddle-bug.  So if you are looking for a flexible and fun “furbaby”, Champagne may just be the girl for you.
