Auki pronounced like "Owww-ki". What a big boy he is, Auki weighs almost 100 pounds!  He has a lot of love to give.

He is a very strong dog and will need to be walked with the proper materials. Auki was surrendered to the shelter due to the children in the home developing allergies. Yup, I said children which means he has lived with children and is said to be good and playful with them!

Auki is said to be crate trained but may need a little help with housebreaking as he has not completely grasped the concept. Auki is friendly with strangers but can be protective of his home. Auki has made it clear to us that he does NOT like restraint or his nails trimmed, he will require a muzzle and a few extra hands.

Auki is in the process of learning more commands, we think Auki would benefit from further obedience training. Auki had a little trouble meeting another dog at first, slow introductions are necessary as he was not 100% comfortable but eventually got used to the other dog. Submissive dogs may be a better match for Auki.
